Summary:
An angsty McBeck/McKeller video on a song by Marilyn Manson. It's an AU, obviously, and OOC (Carson is very, very dark). Summary : Carson had always loved Rodney, who never completely returned the feeling (just a bit). So Carson stands it until he is captured by Michael for 2 years. In Michael's cells, the only thing that keeps him from dying is the thought of Rodney. But when he returns, he discovers that his other self has been killed because of Rodney's selfishness, and because he wanted to be with Katie Brown. Out of revenge, Carson kills her by throwing her off a balcony, but discovers that Rodney is now interested in Keller. Carson gets completely mad and captures Jennifer and brings her to an isolated planet, where he tries to kill her. She ultimately escapes and returns to Atlantis to warn the others, but it's too late: Carson has already kidnapped Rodney. Inspired by Michael's experiments, Carson tries different drugs on Rodney until he finds what he wants: a drug that can make Rodney infatuated with him. The team, led by Jennifer and Sheppard, find the place where Carson detains Rodney, and Jennifer shoots him with a Wraith stunner. Then Carson is brought back to Atlantis and faces a clear-headed Rodney, who is both angry and upset, because he still considers that Carson is a good person and his best friend. However they have no choice but to put him in stasis, until they can find a way to cure his madness. After doing that, Rodney is sad because he knows Carson will probably stay in there forever, and he doesn't manage to get completely involved in his relationship with Jennifer, even if she tries to help him. He still has feelings for Carson, regret mixed with guilt and the crush he always felt for his best friend gets stronger. Out of despair he takes one of the drugs Carson used to give him, has an OD and dies. In the end, his sister mourns him and thinks of how things could have ever gone so badly
